Frequently Asked Questions
If you have Qs you're in the right place
An apple shaped body is mostly characterized by having an overall rounder silhouette in the upper body, wide shoulders, wide bust, wide under bust, a larger undefined waist, narrow hips and slim legs — our best feature 😉 because if styled properly, it makes us appear taller.
If your body shape falls into this category, it does not necessarily mean you are plus size. It just means that your waist to hip proportion is 0.8 or higher.
The apple shaped body population is highly underserved by the fashion and apparel industry. Most clothes are made with an hourglass figure in mind. If you fit the characteristics of and apple shaped body that I just described, then I'm willing to bet you have likely had a tough time getting clothes to fit you right.
But not anymore. Because that's exactly why I created this brand.
The first round of designs that will be part of The Silver Linings Collection (aka Drop I) will be ready this coming Spring 2026. The second round (Drop II) will be available at a later date this year near the summertime. Please bear with me as this brand is a one-woman show...
The official launch dates are still up in the air. I would encourage you to sing up to our newsletter email list to be among the first to know!
I strongly believe that anybody should be free to wear whatever makes them happy. With that said, every single piece I've designed for this brand, has been created with the proportions of an apple shaped body. However, you may still be able to wear my pieces if you size down. Otherwise the fit might be a tad oversize on other shapes. If that's your thing, I'm all for it!
Tops and outerwear (cardigans, cover-ups, and sweaters) are mainly based on bust/chest measurements so there should be no problem finding your size by referring to the size chart on each garment.
Bottoms (skirts, pants, shorts, jumpsuits) might not work out, as these have been created with bigger waists in mind though all will have an adjustability component. If you don't mind an oversize fit around the waist area, then it might just work out for you too. This would likely be the case on most jumpsuits, rompers or dresses. Pants, shorts, skirts or any other style that depends mainly on the waist measurement might be too big for you if you are not apple shaped. Refer to the size chart to find the size that would be closest to your measurements.
All designs are created in my small, yet cozy home studio in the small town of McMinnville, Oregon in the US. Everything is made-to-order in small batches to prevent overstock of inventory. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your order to ship. I strongly value quality over quantity. Every piece is carefully hand crafted to perfection so it will last you for years and years to come.
I strive to create products that are made from deadstock materials in order to reduce the carbon footprint of producing new materials. All fabrics are carefully sourced from left over materials that other brands and bigger companies no longer need. Although most of the fiber content of the fabrics I work with are made from natural fibers such as cotton, I do plan on having a few pieces made of synthetic and semi-synthetic materials for their long lasting properties and ease of care.
Here's something I often tell myself "take care of your clothes and they will take care of you" and I say this here as well. Ideally, it is best to handwash your Wonderland Wolf garments, but let's be real who has time for that?? Most of these are safe to throw in the washer with like colors preferably safely guarded inside a mesh laundry bag, but I would recommend to hang dry or lay flat to dry as cotton and rayon likely shrink significantly in the dryer. Rayon, being a semi-synthetic fabric, made from wood pulp or bamboo, also disintegrates much faster when frequently thrown in the dryer so that’s a big no-no.
For more detailed specific care instructions, please refer to each garment's care label carefully sewn on the inside of each garment. I know, I know, nobody reads those. As I've gotten older, I've been paying more and more attention to them. Trust me it's worth it.
As mentioned earlier, each and every design is purposefully created to fit and flatter apple shaped bodies. The sizes are meant more for us girlies with bigger tummies and narrower hips so I will have to say not likely "true to size" if we are talking about "standard" sizing.
Purposely, I have created my size chart to have sizes based on measurement and not on traditional alpha sizes (i.e XS, S, M, L, XL… etc.) to make sure you can find your ideal fit. No more guesswork! If you need help finding the right size to fit you, I would be more than happy to help!
